A WhatsApp Business API CRM for your whole team
EDCRM.AI connects your business WhatsApp number to a CRM, so the whole team works from one inbox on one number. Euro Digital is an official Meta WhatsApp Business Partner and sets it up within Meta's rules.
One number, one shared team inbox
Many businesses run WhatsApp from a single phone on the reception desk, or from staff members' personal numbers. When that person is on leave, the conversations go with them. With EDCRM.AI, several users reply from the same business number. Each chat is assigned to an owner, and the history stays with the company when people change roles.
WhatsApp messages sit in the same thread as the contact's emails, calls and notes. Your team can use saved text snippets for common replies, add tags, move a deal along the pipeline and book an appointment without leaving the conversation.
Approved templates and the 24-hour window
WhatsApp has two kinds of business message, and it helps to understand them before you plan anything. When a customer messages you, a 24-hour window opens and your team can reply in free-form text during that time. Once the window closes, or when your business wants to start a conversation, you must use a message template that Meta has approved in advance.
Templates cover things like appointment reminders, payment receipts, order updates and offers. We help you write them, submit them for approval and organise them in EDCRM.AI so staff choose the right one. A template can include the customer's name, a date or an amount.
Opt-in and broadcasts
You may only send business-initiated messages to people who have agreed to receive them on WhatsApp. EDCRM.AI records opt-in on the contact, through a form tick box, a keyword reply or a QR code at your counter. A broadcast then goes to an opted-in segment using an approved template, and anyone who asks to stop is removed from future sends.
Automations and click-to-WhatsApp ads
Workflows can send a template when something happens in the CRM: a form is submitted, an appointment is booked, a stage changes or a payment is received. Click-to-WhatsApp ads on Facebook and Instagram work the other way round. The customer taps the ad and starts the chat, so your team or the AI chat assistant can reply free-form straight away, and the lead is saved with its ad source.
What to prepare before you start
Meta needs to know who is behind a business number, so a few things must be ready before we connect it. Gathering them early avoids delays, because verification and template approval are in Meta's hands and the timing is theirs. We give you a checklist in the first session.
- Have your trade licence and business details ready for Meta business verification.
- Choose the phone number and the display name customers will see.
- Decide how you will collect opt-in, and where existing opt-in records are kept.
- List the reminders and updates you want to send, so we can draft templates.
- Name the team members who will reply and who owns which type of chat.

WhatsApp Business: common questions
Can we send a WhatsApp message to any number in our database?
No. Business-initiated messages need the customer's opt-in for WhatsApp and must use a Meta-approved template. Sending to people who have not agreed risks blocks and a lower quality rating on your number. We help you collect opt-in properly from existing customers and record it on each contact.
Can we keep our existing WhatsApp number?
Often yes, but it depends on how the number is used today and on Meta's current rules for moving a number to the API. We check your number during set-up and explain the options before anything is changed, including using a new number if that is the safer route.
What does WhatsApp messaging cost?
Meta sets its own charges for WhatsApp business messaging, and these are separate from your EDCRM.AI subscription. Current details: WhatsApp messaging is billed separately from the EDCRM.AI subscription and the underlying rate depends on the destination market and message category. From 1 October 2026, service messages are billed per message after the first 1,000 service messages per phone number each calendar month; utility template messages sent inside the 24-hour customer-service window are also billable. Marketing, utility and authentication template rates vary by market. Click-to-WhatsApp free-entry-point conversations remain free during the 72-hour free-entry window. Euro Digital can pass these costs through or apply an agreed service/rebilling margin.. We walk you through the expected cost for your own volumes during the demo, so there are no surprises on the first invoice.
How long does template approval take?
Meta reviews each template, and the time varies. Some are approved quickly and some are rejected and need rewording. We write templates to Meta's guidelines to reduce rejections and submit the important ones early in set-up, so they are ready before your first campaign or reminder goes out.
